Hello, my name is Rosa Aleye and I am a practicum student completing a Master’s in Counseling. I hope to offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel seen, valued, and supported. My great passion is walking alongside clients to experience hope, healing, and restoration. I work collaboratively with my clients to address the root causes of their struggles and challenges and work to integrate strategies, tools and techniques so they can reach their full potential. I am mindful that every client is unique with their own stories and experiences and no single approach is the perfect fit for every individual. Hence, my counseling approach is holistic, client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive drawing from a range of clinical approaches to understand and explore clients’ experiences.

In life, we all need a safe place where we can speak out the things that are heaviest on our hearts. Whether we are grappling with pain from the past or present, fears for the future or difficult life questions, we all need a space where we can come as we truly are. I hope to provide that safe space for you in whatever it is that you are processing. I believe each person is unique and that not every person will benefit from the same approach. As I get to know you as a person, I will work with you to determine what therapeutic approaches would be most helpful moving forward. I seek to provide counselling that is client-centred, strengths-focused, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. Ultimately, you are the expert on you, but it would be my privilege to accompany you on your journey.
